It is a pleasure to inform that our scientific committee has just closed the selection of the supported candidates for the next Training Course “Monitoring Natural and Agricultural Ecosystems with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)”.
We would like to thank the 110 researchers that have applied, but unfortunately we had to select only 15 students. Nevertheless, we will take into consideration these students for the coming initiatives.
Following the policy of HARMONIOUS COST Action, we have selected the following candidates
Salvatore Manfreda is Full Professor of Water Management, Hydrology and Hydraulic Constructions at the University of Naples Federico II. He is currently the Chair of the COST Action HARMONIOUS and the Scientific Coordinator of the Research Grant aimed at the Development of the Flood Forecasting System of the Basilicata Region Civil Protection. He has broad interest on distributed modeling, flood risk, stochastic processes in hydrology and UAS-based monitoring. homepage: https://www.salvatoremanfreda.it/
