COST Actions and the Horizon Europe Mission Boards

As you might know, recently the new EU Framework Programme “Horizon Europe” has started. Part of this Framework Programme are 5 Missions on which European research will have a particular focus over the coming years. These are:

• Adaptation to Climate Change
• Cancer
• Restore our Ocean and Waters
• Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities
• Soil Deal for Europe

For each of these missions, a mission board of up to 15 topical experts will be composed; you can find all the details on the website of the European Commission. This might be an opportunity for our Action to contribute to the strategy and priorities of European research for the upcoming years. The deadline to apply to any of the mission boards is 2 February 2022, after which the European Commission will start its selection process.
