The next Workshop of the COST Action HARMONIOUS entitled Standardization of procedures in using UAS for environmental monitoring will be held at the University of Coimbra, in Coimbra, Portugal, on November 6th, 2019.

WG Meeting of the HARMONIOUS COST Action

WG meeting is dedicated to the Action members, but researchers willing to contribute to WG activities are welcome to join this meeting. It aims to finalize the current projects and deliverables of the COST Action (see attached program).

WG meeting is dedicated to the MC members. It aims to coordinate COST Action activities for the next budget year (see attached program).

Location

The workshop will be held at the Department of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of theUniversity of Coimbra.

This Department is located in the Campus II of the University of Coimbra (Pólo II), on the right bank of the Mondego river, as shown in the map below.

Travel information

Coimbra is an old university town situated in the centre of Portugal, between Lisbon (200 km) and Porto (120 km) and about 35 km from the Atlantic coast at Figueira da Foz.

By plane:

Lisbon and Porto international airports have many connections to major European and American airports.

By train:

Coimbra A or Coimbra B railway stations (schedules can be found at http://www.cp.pt) are directly connected to Lisbon and Porto. From either station a taxi can bring you to the conference venue (approx. 7 €).

By car:

Leave the A1 highway at Coimbra south.

By bus:

There are regular buses connecting the three cities (Lisbon-Coimbra-Porto).
